Professional
I've been designing interiors since the late '90s. I owned a showroom featuring classic modern furnishings, eventually branching out into Italian cabinetry and systems. The kitchen design came naturally to me. I love the precise nature of it. But I also enjoy creating more comprehensive environments, so in 2017 I resolved to do more interiors, as well. So here we are!
Stylistically, as the years progress, I'm becoming more comfortable with and appreciative of softer and more refined contemporary design. However, I've always been drawn to minimalism of one sort or another - from International Style to wabi sabi - and I can't imagine that ever changing.
Education
After a brief stint at Pepperdine and then moving on to the University of Tennessee where I found my calling in design, I finally came to Arizona where I earned my B.S. in Design from Arizona State in 1996.
Family & Personal
Born in North Dakota. Raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. Moved to Arizona in 1992. I have two sons, one in high school and one in college as of this writing. The dog is Alice. I enjoy road trips with the boys, motorcycling, and mountain biking. I'm happiest when busy with work, but not too busy to sneak away and do one of these other things -- or a trip to Iceland...
