As no two projects are alike, neither are the efforts required to complete them. That's why I offer a variety of services which can be tailored to your specific needs and preferences.
Full-service Interior Design
Everything, start to finish. From initial concept and site documentation through final selection and placement of artwork and accessories, this covers it all - space planning; furnishings, fixtures, equipment, materials, & finishes selection; meetings with the architect, builder, and other trades & consultants; lighting design; 2D & 3D design drawings; budget planning & cost tracking; full spec documentation; scheduling; site visits & installation.
Kitchen Design
All the elements of a full home project, but concentrated. Regardless of style, manufacturer, budget, or size, the success of a new or remodeled kitchen is determined by three key elements: 1) The kitchen's ultimate layout - does it work well for the homeowner? 2) The installers - were they good? and 3) Attentiveness of the designer - were they present and in control throughout the whole process? In over 15 years of designing kitchens, I've never had to reorder a part or cabinet due to my own error in measuring, designing, specifying, or ordering.
Consultation Packs
Observation, assessment, design, & recommendation. This is a great option if you have a room or two that just aren't working, or if you need a material and finish palette right away for a flip -- or just a new look on a budget. Available as half-day, one-day, two-day, and palette packages. I am also happy to review and cross-check kitchen designs by others; a second set of eyes never hurts.
Project & Site Management
Included in all full-service and kitchen design projects, of course. But do you have a project that's too small to register on a general contractor's radar? Want new appliances, but they don't quite fit? Too busy during the day to oversee the installation of new tile yourself? While I am not a contractor and cannot hire people on your behalf, I am happy to act as your eyes, ears, and even coordinator on any project that might benefit from a surrogate.
Modeling & Visualization Assistance
Included in all full-service and kitchen design projects, SketchUp and/or 2020 models and renderings are also available à la carte, as needed or desired. Not just for space planning and volume/scale studies, these can be useful for seemingly simple - yet very important - details, such as tile design and layout.
